We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our team which is located in Horden.

Job Details

Maintaining inventory and supplies by receiving, storing, and delivering items;

The Role

  • Securing warehouse

  • Ensuring policies, procedures and deadlines are achieved.

Hours:

Work 9am - 6pm, 5 days a week and WILL INCLUDE WEEKEND WORK. Immediate Start is available

Duties:

  • Managing Warehouse Staff
  • plus light HR functions including communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Meets warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing and maintaining productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying warehouse system improvements.
  • Help to pick, load / unload and occasionally deliver supplies and equipment to venues by receiving and transferring items between internal sites and external customers and suppliers.
  • Maintains inventory by conducting weekly/monthly physical counts; reconciling variances; inputting data.
  • Scheduling and maintaining the company fleet of vehicles. This includes the maintenance and audits on all company vehicles, via inspection of general condition as well as checking fluid levels and tire pressure’s, etc. Following which any damage would be reported and scheduled for repairs.
  • Always exceed the customers expectations through high level customer service - polite, well mannered, etc
  • Organizing the deliveries to our customers by identifying destinations as well as establishing the best and most cost effective route to ensure time windows are adhered to.
  • Serving customers by understanding and resolving or forwarding complaints; adjusting orders.
  • Must be well presented at all times
  • Must have a good physical fitness level as the position require heavy manual lifting
  • Must have high hygiene standard
  • Knowledge of the Yorkshire area would be an advantageous

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £27,224.00-£30,747.00 per year
