With a dedication to delivering exceptional products and outstanding customer experiences, they have established themselves as a leader in their field. To support their growth, they are seeking a Warehouse Manager to join their team and take charge of the warehouse operations based in Pudsey, LS28.
The Warehouse Manager Role:
As a Warehouse Manager, you will play a crucial role in optimizing warehouse processes, ensuring efficient order fulfilment, and driving operational excellence. This is a hands-on position that requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of ecommerce logistics.
Pay and working hours:
- Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm
- £30,000 - £35,000 depending on experience
Responsibilities of a Warehouse Manager:
- Develop and implement strategies to streamline warehouse operations, including inventory management, order processing, and shipping.
- Optimize workflows to maximize efficiency, minimize errors, and reduce fulfilment time.
- Oversee the receiving, inspection, and storage of inventory, ensuring accurate tracking and documentation.
- Lead and inspire a team of warehouse personnel, providing training, guidance, and performance evaluations.
- Work closely with business owners to align operations with business objectives.
- Continuously monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in ecommerce warehousing and logistics.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse management, preferably in an ecommerce or retail environment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse management software.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve operational goals.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
