WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR - EXETER

Location: Skypark, Exeter - near Exeter Airport

Job type: Permanent

Reporting to: Assistant Warehouse Manager

Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00am - 16:30 & Friday 08:00am - 15:30pm

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions, operating as an employment agency, are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor at our clients new facility at Skypark, Exeter on a permanent full time contract.

The successful candidate will ensure a professional approach to incoming goods, storage and dispatch to our clients customers.

Main duties & responsibilities:

To provide excellent customer service

Ensure and positively promote compliance with all Health & Safety, Quality and Human Resource Policies of business

Develop a team to pick, pack, and despatch all orders to the highest standard;

Work with the team to develop improvements and changes in packaging to reduce the level of DIT and other carrier related issues;

To ensure that there is control over the storage and handling of goods and investigations are carried out on all identified discrepancies and errors;

To meet all despatch deadlines;

To ensure all members of staff are highly trained, multi-skilled operatives able

to produce excellent results in any job they undertake;

Develop an enthusiastic, flexible and motivated ethos in the team to undertake any appropriate warehouse task;

To manage staffing numbers according to work schedule and holidays;

To undertake all relevant HR responsibilities, including but not limited to, Annual Reviews, Absence Management, Employee inductions and time and attendance control;

Maintain good working relationships with all internal and external stakeholders;

To manage all administration surrounding the stock movements and adjustments and maintain a high degree of stock accuracy at all times;

To provide management support to the Group Warehouse Manager, whilst ensuring the efficient day to day operation of the areas you are responsible for;

To ensure effective warehouse communications, keeping the team in the loop of changes and requirements whilst feeding back warehouse information to the manager;

To keep a cool head and remain focused at all times but specifically during peak season.

Proven track record of delivering on time business critical projects

Able to demonstrate an innovative, effective and progressive approach to problem solving

Able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed performance expectations

Able to develop a KPI's to drive constant improvement
