About The Role
We are on the lookout for a WarehouseAdministrator to join one of our Distribution Centres.
Your primary responsibilities are around the smooth administrationof both online and manual tasks relating to all operations of the warehouse.These tasks will range from facilitating deliveries to dealing with queriesfrom branches through to transport and contractors.
- Be accurate, efficient, and diligent in your activities
- Be an integral part of the warehouse team
- You are responsible for the admin tasks needed to support all warehouse activities
- Ensure all your targets are met
- Have a willingness to learn and experience other functions of the business.
- Ensure the warehouse operations comply with GSF Health and Safety and Hazardous Materials policies and procedures. Ensure the safe operation of the facility
- You are responsible for ensuring you maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Ensure skills are constantly being developed through training
- Ensuring you always work accurately and approach work with a ‘right first time, mentality
- Work collaboratively with colleagues both in your own area and across the warehouse
- Be aware of working a continuous improvement environment ensuring performance is constantly being evaluated and improvement initiatives instigated.
- Show a willingness to feedback on your own ideas and drive change
- Embrace change and new ways of working to underpin that continuous improvement approach
- Any other duty as required by the line manager commensurate with the post
- Embrace and manage change proactively
About You
For succession you will need:
- If working in the stock functions a minimum of grade A level maths or equivalent
- Strong excel skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Reliable and motivated
- Proactive, energetic and a self-starter
- Knows what good looks like and will work towards establishing that
- Knows how to roll up sleeves and get things done
- Structured working method
- Collaborative mindset
- Able to adapt quickly to a changing environment
- Confident leader able to drive the team forward in line with company goals
Bonus points if you have:
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment
- Experience with contemporary warehousing IT functionality, including Warehouse Management systems
- Strong analytical and IT skills
