Warehouse Supervisor

What will you be doing?
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Supervisor provides effective oversight, supervision, and direction to Warehouse team members. They ensure the safe, efficient, and effective operation of the warehousing functions, with a focus on accurate and timely picking, loading, and delivery of orders for Corporate Stores, Agency Stores, Grocery Stores and other designated ANBL locations around the province, as well as inbound deliveries to the warehouse.
Additional responsibilities include
- Supervising, coaching, and motivating Warehouse team members
- Tracking Key Performance Indicators
- Planning and scheduling shifts, equipment, and resources
- Onboarding and training warehouse personnel
- Taking ownership of health and safety for all Warehouse team members
- Preparing and analyzing communication and measurement reports, schedules, forms, and other documentation as required
About you
You bring a strong background in all Warehouse functions, including logistics, supply chain management, and transportation systems. You’ve seen several worst-case scenarios, lived to tell the stories, and now know how to address them or prevent them from happening again.
You are leading a team of 17 Warehouse team members. You are known for building engagement with a focus on collaboration, safety and teamwork. As a coach, you will provide continuous communication and feedback, while establishing priorities individually and at the team-level.
What do you need to be successful?
- Post-secondary education in Business administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehousing, or similar
- 2+ years’ experience in a Warehouse environment
- One year’s experience in a supervisory function
- Excellent leadership skills, including coaching, motivation, and conflict management
- Strong skills in communication, analysis, and time management
Language competencies
Strong communication skills in English (oral and written)- Bilingualism in both official languages is an asset
Location
- Reporting into the ANBL Retail Operations Centre (ROC) in Fredericton, New Brunswick
