About the role
Working alongside the Warehouse Manager and Lead Supervisor you will be providing strong people management to the warehouse team on your shift. Supervising a team of up to 15 warehouse operatives, ensuring we are able to meet and exceed our customer expectations by handling Goods In efficiently, transferring of stock between our three sites in Tonbridge, stock rotation and replenishment of shelves all in time for our night team to come in to pick and load the orders.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and motivating a team of warehouse operatives allocating duties on a daily basis
- Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to maintain accurate stock levels and records
- Rotate stock efficiently to minimise waste
- Accurately transfer stock using EWS
- Ensure deliveries are booked in daily, stock levels are accurate and any adjustments required are completed
- Ensure compliance with all site policies and regulations, e.g. Health & Safety
- Any other reasonable duties as requested
Key Requirements
This is a hands-on role, you must be willing to get involved with all aspects of warehouse duties in addition to leading and motivating the team.
You will need to:
- have experience working in a warehouse at Team Lead level or above
- be reliable and self-motivated
- have excellent communication skills, including speaking and listening
- have confidence to lead and motivate a team
- be able to work well under pressure with changing priorities and to strict deadlines
- be a confident decision maker and willing to accept responsibility
- have a flexible approach in order to meet business needs

Salary: Up to £33,500.00 per year
