Position: Warehouse Manager
Location: Bristol
Salary: £35k-£40k

You have the opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business in the Bristol area. This long standing business boasts a low staff turnover and this role only exists due to the existing Warehouse Manager retiring.
You will be responsible for 12 staff, including warehouse and drivers. You will report to the Operations Director and will work towards the continuous improvement of the Warehouse and Manufacturing.
Warehouse Manager
Oversees the day to day working of the warehouse and transport operation. You will work closely with the operational team to ensure there is smooth running in production and transport departments. Whilst maintaining a high-quality standard of finished product and delivery.
Job Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 Years management experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Analytical, with good attention to detail
- Knowledge of good warehousing practises (5S/Lean)
- Good understanding of correct H&S practises
- Good IT Skills with previous experience with stock management systems
- Valid Forklift license is preferred but not essential

Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and assist with optimum run time of machinery to avoid unnecessary downtime
- Maintaining and improving on KPI’s provided and striving for improvement.
- Enforcing and adhering to Health & Safety policies, encouraging staff to report Near Miss, Incident and Accidents
- Oversee and assist with all required shift checks e.g., Cycle counting, maintenance records and housekeeping
- Communicating with other departments where necessary to ensure production lead times are met
- Provide guidance and training to employees where required.
- Communicate daily with senior management on performance and any potential or rising issues within your scope.
