We are currently looking for an experienced forklift warehouse operative to join our busy warehouse team in Manchester
Core Responsibilities and duties;
Duties include but not limited to;
Load and Unload freight from own- and third-party vehicles
Unloading Import containers
Loading export containers
Cross-referencing marks on cargo against mark on manifest/paperwork
Competent with using an iPad and handheld scanning devices
Ensuring the working area is clean and free from potential hazards
Flexible to work outside normal business hours and overtime as needed
Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for an organised team member who must have:
12 months experience working within a warehouse environment
Valid FLT for 12 months
Counterbalance licence
Ability to work as a team and as an individual, to prioritise own workload, work efficiently and in line with all company policies and procedures.
Good understanding of health and safety requirements
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
IT literate
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £32,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Warrington: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Experience:
- Forklift Truck Drivers: 1 year (required)
