Here at GXO, we are currently on the search for a Warehouse First Line Manager (Nights) to join our team in Northampton. You'll be responsible for controlling the overall output of each operational shift by coordinating all the colleagues to cover all operational activities, while ensuring all health and safety standards are met. This is a full-time, position working a 4 on, 4 off, night shift pattern consisting of the hours of 18:00 - 06:00. Pay, benefits and more: We're looking to offer a salary of up to £27,560.00 per annum plus £1.20 per hour for unsociable hours (22:00 - 06:00). In addition, we offer 23 days annual leave inclusive of bank holidays. What you'll do on a typical day: Be aware of the customers' product range and its impact on receiving, locating and dispatching its product combined with specific transport requirements for the customer Plan, manage and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements. Continue with the development of operational work practices and safe systems of work Manage and control effective communications and interdepartmental relationships, enhancing staff engagement What you need to succeed at GXO: Experience leading a team of warehouse colleagues within a large, fast paced warehouse environment Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Experience managing conflicting priorities, with the ability to plan and organise a warehouse operation Strong IT skills, including warehouse systems and Microsoft Office We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
