Job description

We are looking to appoint a Facilities Maintenance Engineer who has a wealth of experience under their belt and is looking for a company who can provide them with new opportunities and career progression. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis at our new Bradford site but will be required to travel from site-to-site, and in return, receive an extremely competitive salary.

Our Facilities Maintenance Engineer will be working alongside our Facilities manager to make sure the daily running of all sites based facilities is functioning by ensuring that all aspects of our facilities are meeting the required legal guidelines. You will be responsible for seeing the overall planning, coordination and delivery of activities to ensure the smooth running and upkeep of all our sites, and will have support from the Facilities Manager. You will be welcomed into our Business Support team who are forward-thinking and encourage one another to create innovative solutions to issues.

Responsibilities of our Facilities Maintenance Engineer will include:

  • Both Reactive and planned maintenance on automation equipment to ensure all equipment is running at the correct throughput.
  • Undertake machine start-up, routine and non-routine and planned shut down as required.
  • To undertake fault diagnosis & implement corrective actions to minimise downtime.
  • To communicate machine status & performance across shift teams to ensure effective handovers.
  • Maintaining and repairing automated bagging systems, conveyor lines & steam tunnels plus all associated plant equipment.

What we are looking for in our Facilities Maintenance Engineer:

  • Experience with facility management and relevant regulations.
  • NVQ / C & G Level 3 or greater with an electrical or mechanical discipline.
  • Must have a driving licence.
  • Environmental qualification/experience of ISO 14001 implementation would be desirable.
  • IOSH or NEBOSH desirable
