Job description
We're seeking a motivated individual to join an established delivery team on our site in Barrow in Furness, as a full time warehouse operative/Delivery driver. You will be required to work Mon-Fri 35 hours per week. (occasional weekends)
We deliver a first-class service, so as part of your role you will be delivering items into customers' homes, so you will require a friendly and thoughtful outlook – you’ll put customers first in everything you do.
Responsibilities:
- Picking/packing goods
- Assist with loading of vehicles with goods in/out
- Vehicle safety checks
- Delivering into customer houses
- Changing window displays
Requirements
- Be over 25
- Flexible attitude
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Full Clean Driving Licence
- Physically fit as there is lots of manual handling
- Good with customers as this is a very customer facing role
- Practically minded and able to problem solve
