DELIVERY/WAREHOUSE PERSON
JOB VACANCY
CLE is a busy, modern and expanding sub-contract CNC precision machining company offering high quality parts to various industries including Mining, Hydraulics, Aerospace, Railway & Food/Beverage Industries. Due to the dynamics of the industry there is a requirement for a warehouse person to fulfil the following duties
Duties include:
- Goods Inwards/Goods Outwards - Receiving and booking in raw materials to process instructions.(Confirming traceability, measurement and quantities of in-coming materials)
- Material handling – Sawing raw materials using an automatic bandsaw and allocation of materials to the appropriate manufacturing cell
- Fork lift use – Loading and offloading of delivery vehicles, and ensuring all despatches are loaded onto the correct vehicles before end of shift.
- Making local deliveries – Delivering goods to customers as required.
- Housekeeping – Responsibilities includes helping with keeping the shopfloor to a clean standard.
The successful applicant would have the following attributes:
- Good communication skills
- Good time management/organisation skills
- Smart appearance
- Fork lift licence (would be an advantage, but training will be provided for the successful candidate)
Hours of work:
- 7.00am – 4.00pm Monday – Thursday
- 7.00am – 1pm - Friday
- Overtime maybe required for this position, due to daily customer despatches.
