Job description

We are a packaging company, supplying jewellery boxes, displays and bags to Jewellers. We customise packaging in-house with logos using hot foil machines. We take orders via our website, on the phone and through trade shows.

We are a family business looking for a permanent member of staff, with a serious and intelligent work ethic to join our close-knit team. Working hours 9:00-17:00 for 5 days a week. The work area is clean, warm and air-conditioned, with windows making it a comfortable place to work.

A typical day may involve:

• Picking and packing orders from a selection of over 1000 products
• Carefully wrapping and organising packages to send by courier
• Using hot foil printing machines to manually print logos on packaging
• Offloading containers of new stock and loading delivery vans for dispatching goods
• Organising the warehouse and amenities as required

The candidate requirements:

• be able to lift cartons of 20kg
• have an eye for detail and precision
• be dexterous with their hands
• be able to work fast under tight deadlines and learn to manage their work schedule
• have a good visual memory to remember codes and the corresponding products
• have good warehouse navigation
• be extremely tidy in their picking and packing operations
• be able to work as a team player
• have experience with warehouse operations and line work

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to £11.50 per hour
