IKEA Greenwich are looking to welcome Warehouse assistants to join our Goods receiving team.

We are looking for someone who can work hard in a physically demanding role with a customer driven mindset.
This role is fast paced and physically demanding, you will have the ambition to grow within IKEA and to help develop others too, taking responsibility and showing initiative is key.

In the IKEA world, we call this position a Full-serve Co-worker.

Expected Starting Date: 21st March 2023

WHAT WE OFFER

• £11.95 basic hourly rate
• Living Wage Foundation Employer
• 16 hours per week, working 3pm - 7pm, Monday, Tuesday, Friday and either Saturday or Sunday
• All our part time co-workers will receive 1 weekend off in 4.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

Your day will start with receiving customer product returns, and then to liaise with other departments around the store to ensure a prompt and safe flow of stock back to the shop floor. This this is an autonomous role where you will be required to assess product quality and make & take decisions.
You will be responsible for safe housekeeping standards and supporting fellow co-workers.
