Job description
Inventory management
- Ensure all stock is safely stored in suitable warehouse locations
- Decanting of resins, mix thoroughly and decant resins, ensure all batch numbers and labels are correctly affixed and dated
- Record all stock used for training, product trials including any damaged stock, pass to the Operations Co-ordinator on a weekly basis so that suitable stock adjustments can be made
- Double check all deliveries received to ensure that they correspond with delivery notes
- Assist with monthly stock take (last day of the month)
Order picking, packing and despatch
- Accurately and safely pick, pack, shrink wrap and despatch all customer orders in a timely manner
- Ensure all pallets are labelled correctly ready for despatch
- Check stocks of packaging materials
General warehouse duties
- Receive and sign for all deliveries for Degafloor Ltd
- Adhere to health and safety procedures and risk assessments.
- Always keep warehouse clean and tidy.
- Manage waste of all packaging, buckets, drums, IBCs, wood boards, ensuring waste is being correctly sorted into relevant skips outside in the yard
Other (time permitting)
- Assist with product demonstrations (off site & onsite)
Person profile:
- Organised, Team player, Flexible, Enthusiastic, Excellent practical skills.
- Current FLT license (if not, training will be provided)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £18,000.00-£20,000.00 per year
