Bar and Catering Supplies Ltd is looking for a Warehouse Worker to join our team. The Warehouse Worker is responsible for the efficient movement of product within our warehouse.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (e.g. raw materials, material supplies, construction materials)
- Organize storage areas and keep inventory levels high and neat
- Complete paperwork for inventory and orders, like invoices, shipping labels, etc.
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Report on any shortages, inefficiencies or security issues
- Comply with established safety rules and maintain safety equipment (e.g. protective clothing)
- Participate in internal audits and review meetings
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts)
- Report on any deficiencies in operation or maintenance (e.g. repair time)
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors/supervisory personnel
Experience:
- Prior experience in a warehouse environment is preferred, but not required
- Experience with operating a forklift is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office software products is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required
