Job Specification – Warehouse Administrator
Percy Doughty has an exciting permanent, full-time opportunity for a warehouse administrator to join our team at our Head Office in Farnworth.
This role would suit candidates who have some administrative experience and are keen to learn and build upon existing skills. You must be able to demonstrate that you have strong IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft packages. Some knowledge of SAP or similar would be an advantage but is not essential as training will be given.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinate inbound/outbound deliveries and customer collections.
- Management of stock, overseeing receiving, issuing and despatch of stock.
- Deal with telephone and email enquiries relating to orders and other warehouse activities.
- Scheduling delivery via an online transport portal.
- Warehouse tasks including booking in stock and stock management.
- Working closely with the picking and packing team.
- Organising pick list, delivery notes.
- Working as part of a team to cover the returns and dispatch when required.
- Close contact and regular liaison with internal departments to progress orders.
- Support the business with any other ad hoc duties as and when required.

Role Parameters
- Department: Warehouse Admin Team
- Reporting to: Operations Director
- Location: Farnworth/Bolton
Working Hours: Monday – Thursday, 8;30am – 5pm, Fridays 08:30am – 4pm with additional hours as reasonably required to excel within the role.
