Job description
Responsibilities:
· Clearing receipts on the system and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
· Receiving customer enquiries/orders and loading them accurately onto the system in a timely manner
· Dispatching orders on the system
· Closing out job files by obtaining POD and any other required information
· Running reports from the system as required by customers and management
· Updating and reporting KPIs
· Ensuring paperwork is archived accurately and in a timely manner
· Updating files when necessary on the common drive
· Undertaking system checks as required
· Attend training on new processes and procedures
· Availability for Stocktaking as required
· Reporting any issues, accidents or incidents in accordance with procedures
· Housekeeping duties in the office/general tidying
· Carrying out duties as instructed (within reason) by Warehouse Manager.
Overall Purpose/ Scope of the Position:
- To assist Operations with Administration tasks within the department
- To ensure all enquiries that come into the business are accurately input through one system as soon as received
- To enable analysis of day to day business activity
- Ensuring all administrative support tasks are undertaken and completed in a timely and accurate manner, and to process
- To ensure the Transport system is kept up to date with incoming enquiries and closing out jobs
- Support Transport Planners and Managers
- Any other reasonable request to support business requirements.
Working Hours:
Monday - Friday, 0800am - 4.30pm/ 0930am - 6.00pm.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £23,500.00 per year
