Job description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a number of enthusiastic, highly motivated individuals to the role of Housekeeper/ Hygienist within this busy setting.
This role will support a purpose built ward which is due to open in the spring and will have the capacity to support 60 patients.
A significant aspect of the role is effective stock control. Ensuring that equipment and facilities are maintained as well as managing an effective cleaning and maintenance regime for the medical equipment used within the department. Knowledge of working in a care environment would be an advantage but not essential.
Academic qualifications are not essential although you will be required to complete the National Care Certificate, you should possess excellent team working and communication qualities (both written and verbal), IT skills would also be an advantage as most stock ordering is done electronically.
