Job description
An exciting development opportunity has arisen on ward L49 - the Childrens Day Case Unit for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 2 ward clerk to work 37.5 hours per week as part of a multi-professional team, committed to delivering a high standard of care to children and their families.
Ward L49 is an extremely busy 26 bedded Childrens Day Case Unit incorporating a Childrens Plastic Dressing Clinic and a Childrens Surgical Admission Lounge caring for children undergoing day case surgery, day case medical intervention, dressing changes and inpatient admissions. You will have enthusiasm, strong communication skills and customer experience along with good computer skills .
You will also be a forward facing member of the team dealing with anxious families so sympathy and empathy will be a big part of your role.
