An opportunity has arisen to join the Ward Clerk Team as a Ward Clerk.
We are a small, friendly department looking for an organised, efficient person who is approachable and can communicate effectively.
The role encompasses working within the hospital setting whilst providing effective administration support within a multi-disciplinary team.
You should be self-motivated and able to work independently and in pressurised situations.
We are looking an enthusiastic, hardworking and motivated person to join our team of Ward Clerks. You will work as part of the Ward Clerk team to ensure that all administration duties are performed to support the clinical staff.
You will be expected to work various shift patterns, to include: early/late/long days, comprising of 6hr and 12hr shifts pro rata
You will provide administrative, clerical and receptionist services to patients and visitors, working as part of a team and in collaboration with others. Key targets for the postholder will be to work towards achieving an accurate Real Time Bed State and to assist in improving the processing of patient records.
You will liaise closely with nursing, therapy, medical and supporting services to provide an efficient and effective service for patients. You should be able to respond to changing priorities and have the ability to work under pressure. You will be computer literate and have experience of dealing with the general public.
