Walking Floor Driver (HGV Class 1) Sedgefield, England
Job description
We are looking for an experienced Class 1 driver to work out of our depot in Sedgefield, County Durham. The successful candidate will be offered full time employment.
Requirements of the role:
· Class 1 LGV licence.
· Knowledge of UK driving regulations, including Drivers’ Hours and the Working Time Directive.
· A strong work ethic.
· A smart and professional appearance.
· A mindful approach to Health and Safety in the workplace.
Your main duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
· Transporting waste on behalf of our clients.
· Operating the walking floor trailer.
· Completing daily vehicle checks and defect reports.
· Providing a high level of customer service at all times.
· Maintaining vehicle cleanliness at all times.
· Observing any applicable health and safety requirements.
· Any other duties as instructed by the Transport Manager.
Overtime and weekend work is available.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £45,000.00 per year
