Job Title: Self Employed Waking Night Care Assistant
We have an incredible opportunity for you to join Cheriton Homecare as a Waking Night Care Assistant in Brighton. You would support a Live-in Care Assistant that is assigned to one of our clients. The client has mental health care needs and is resident in their own home.
In this role, you will provide compassionate care and supervision to our client if they wake at night. The client is diabetic and requires support around food intake.
Your responsibilities will include offering personal care and ensuring the client's safety. You will need to maintain accurate digital records in real time, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and contribute to the client's overall well-being.
Care Assistants registered as self-employed working with Cheriton Homecare.
- Have no deductions for tax and national insurance made by the agency.
- Have Excellent rates of pay.
- Have Client specific training fully funded where required.
- Have Training courses available to update their current skills.
- Have 24 hour Support from our friendly care management team.
What does Cheriton Homecare require from Care Assistants wishing to work with us
- A minimum of 12 months experience as a professional carer within a live-in care setting.
- Two Contactable and checkable references that are industry specific.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English.
- Excellent record keeping skills.
- Ability to adapt and learn digital record keeping systems specific to Cheriton Homecare.
- Enhanced digital DBS clearance certificate.
- Must fill in our online application form.
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Salary: £800.00 per week
