Lamaya is a Lebanese restaurant coming to the Finzels Reach area to bring our own taste of Lebanon to Bristol. Our food is hand-prepared and based on traditional Lebanese recipes; we also serve some fantastic cocktails and the best homemade sauces with every dish!

Lamaya has a passion for freshly cooked food and outstanding service. We have huge aspirations, and our number one priority to achieve them is by focusing on our team. Job Description

We're looking for someone with restaurant or bar experience to join our team, someone who is

A Lamaya server is our customer service representative and plays an essential role in ensuring our customer's enjoyment and happiness. A suitable candidate can make loyal customers of first-time patrons and upsell food whilst delivering a personable and friendly service. Our staff need to be dedicated, dynamic and passionate about their role and providing only the best service and personality to our customers.

Waiting staff responsibilities include ensuring our tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus and serving food and beverages. You will need to be quick on your feet (literally and metaphorically) and have a polite and friendly attitude. We want to meet you if you enjoy talking to people and thrive in a fast-paced workplace.

We will provide on-site training before the restaurant opening on POS, our menu and other site-specific information; however, prior experience in hospitality is required. Any experience with cocktail making and stock control is a bonus but not required.

Key Role Responsibilities

- To meet, greet and seat clients

- To provide recommendations and knowledge of our dishes

- Organise and take reservations and waiting lists

- Efficiently work as part of a team, working alongside the bar and kitchen

- Upholding stringent cleaning and health + safety standards

- Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude

Your main goal and responsibility will be to provide high-quality service that will help us maintain and attract customers, build a good reputation, and encourage regular custom.
