Barajee is a classical licensed restaurant serving high-quality south Asian food, alongside an extensive bar list. The restaurant has a friendly and energetic team and is looking to add waiting staff and bar staff to the team!
The restaurant is open from 5pm to 12am 7 days a week - typically, the restaurant is busy when there are events and shows being hosting in surroundings, as well as passing trade as it is located on Birmingham's vibrant Broad Street.
We are seeking for a candidate with a minimum of 3 years restaurant experience.
Job responsibilities for waiting staff and Bar staff:
- Good level of spoken and written English. Alongside this, a strong understanding of alcoholic drinks is required in order to ensure customer requests are being fulfilled effiicently and with minimal errors.
- Understanding of how to operate an EPOS system where needed.
- Customer service skills, hospitality related. This is a mandatory requirement and it is preferable if the candidate has associated qualification(s).
- Food and drinks handling. Must be able to serve drinks to tables, as well as food items.
- Table clearing and setting. Floor planning and house-keeping.
- Closing checks and duties must be fulfilled according to routine and supervisor's instructions.
