Responsibilities

  • Prepare the restaurant for breakfast/lunch/dinner service in accordance with our standards
  • Welcome guests in a warm and courteous manner
  • Provide guests with menus and take their order
  • Inform guests of menu recommendations, allergies and daily specials
  • Serve food and drink orders in a timely manner
  • Clear tables
  • Polish cutlery and glasses and set tables
  • Carry out cleaning schedules at end of restaurant service
  • Ensure guest satisfaction at all times
  • Ensure that guests bills are correct and handle payment
  • Handle any guest enquiries and complaints in a friendly manner and ensure the manager is made aware of any complaints
  • To participate in any training and personnel exercises designed to improve standards and performance
  • Wear clean uniform & name badge at all times and ensure a high level of personal hygiene & grooming
  • Observe all requirements under Health & Safety regulations

Requirements

  • Previous experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided
  • A drive to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness
  • Confident, professional, friendly and welcoming personality
  • Be able to work as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a fast, busy environment
  • Must be available to work at weekends and on Bank Holidays

Full time position is 35 hours per week, working 5 days out of 7 with the option of more hours.
Part time positions available, must be fully flexible and be able to work at least 16-21 hours per week and mainly weekends.

Rate of pay will be dependent on age
