Job description
Countrystyle Meats is a family run business, and we are looking for Waiting on Staff to work in our Café based at our Lancaster Leisure Park facilities.
We are open Friday, Saturday & Sunday each week.
We are looking for people who can work any of the above 2 or 3 days per week and create a welcoming, friendly atmosphere, talk to customers with ease and have a friendly personality. Be a team player and used to working in a busy environment.
Responsibilities
· Taking accurate food & drinks orders
· Ensure accurate till and cash handling procedures
· To assist in the set-up of all service areas
· To assist in the welcoming of customers to the Cafe
· To assist in the serving of meals / drinks to customers
· Barista experience (preferred)
· To ensure that all duties are conducted in accordance with safety requirements, including food hygiene regulations
· To support colleagues and to undertake any duties which might be required, to ensure customer expectations are met
· Proven experience in a Waiting on or Front of House role (preferred but training will be given)
· Team player who can support others but also confident in their own ability to work across sections
· Hard working, motivated and seeking to establish a reputation for excellent service and dining
· Calm under pressure, enthusiastic, good attitude and professional always
· A people person with high standards of hygiene and cleanliness and have an awareness of allergen & intolerance legislation, food hygiene and health & safety practices.
