The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a friendly, energetic, and responsible Server to join our team. The ideal candidate will be customer service oriented, able to multitask efficiently, and be able to work in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests in a timely manner
• Take food and drink orders from tableside or in the restaurant
• Prepare and serve food items according to customers’ preferences
• Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
• Answer the telephone and respond to messages left for the restaurant owner or manager
• Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant by keeping tables tidy and presentable with all necessary dishes, glasses etc.
• Check if there are any deliveries or take out orders from other restaurants that need to be delivered
• Report any maintenance issues with restaurant equipment or building to the manager or supervisor
• Check if there are any deliveries or take out orders from other restaurants that need to be delivered
• Stock inventory (e.g. plates, glasses etc.)and place them on tables for serving purposes
• Check if there are any deliveries or take out orders from other restaurants that need to be delivered
• Keep the restaurant and front desk neat, clean and orderly at all times. Balance the front desk cash drawer at least once a day

Qualifications:

• Must have a positive attitude and be personable towards guests. Team-oriented is a must! Be able to multitask!
• Must be able to stand, walk, kneel, bend, reach, lift & carry up to 40 pounds throughout the day. Must have excellent customer service skills. Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with all types of guests (including customers) with whom you come in contact. Have the ability to listen actively while taking notes accurately document all information accurately in your daily log book. Have excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Have the ability to learn new skills as they become available over time such as food tastings etc.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £14.00-£16.00 per hour

Experience:

• Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
• Bartending: 1 year (preferred)
