Waiter / Waitress
What is the main purpose of the role?
Working within the Conference & Events department, you will be part of a team delivering a high quality service to our customers, maximising on all sales opportunities.
Your main purpose as a Waiter / Waitress will be to provide great customer service at every moment. Through your professional attitude and strong knowledge of our products, you will ensure that you give full co-operation to any customer requiring attention and you will upsell at every opportunity.
You will be on hand to deal with guest queries and requests and take the appropriate action to achieve total guest satisfaction, whilst ensuring that you communicate any problems to a member of the management team.
The Ideal Candidate
To be successful in the Waiter / Waitress role, it is essential that you enjoy working and dealing with the public and being part of a team. You should be a confident communicator; able to stay calm under pressure and remain polite and courteous at all times.
It would be great if you have previous experience within a similar Waiter / Waitress type role or within an environment where delivering great customer service is key. However, experience is not required and, if you are an individual with a passion and willingness to learn, you could still be our next Waiter / Waitress!
