About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Head of Sales to be the foundational pillar of the Sales function in our business. With unique opportunities to shape the direction of the company and help build our Commercial team, if you’re passionate about taking yourself, Dexory, and the logistics industry to the next level, then you are who we’re looking for.


Overview

We have outrageously big plans for the next 24 months so you will exponentially grow our pipeline, strategically managing sales opportunities while also setting up our Sales team. You build credibility quickly and you are a closer, great at winning new accounts but also expanding across the enterprise. You are passionate about growing yourself and others and understanding what motivates them. Previous experience in start-ups would give you a head start in understanding the complexities of an early stage business.


Key Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership for defining, implementing our sales strategy to manage the entire sales team/operation from prospecting of new customers to converting them into live customers and growing them across multiple sites and geographies.

  • Identify where our proposition does and doesn’t work, for different audiences, and make strategic changes to improve performance.

  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure that appropriate expectations are being established, communicated and documented.

  • Recruit, lead and develop a high performing Sales team. Lead by example and don’t be afraid to get hands on.

  • Cultivate relationships with C-level and senior executives within the logistics industry, represent our company across various events

  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to maintain 100% customer satisfaction, ensure opportunities for additional business growth and influence the product roadmap.

  • Demonstrated, successful track record with a minimum of 10 years B2B experience selling to large enterprise customers. Hands-on experience in taking customers from cold leads to closed contracts.

  • Experience developing & managing a high performing sales team.

  • Standout experience leading SaaS and Services contract negotiations with C-levels, technical teams and legal teams on new deals. Preferred experience with establishing relationships with and selling through technology partners and system integrators.

  • You bring a hustle-mentality to how your team works and consistently demonstrate the ability to seek out opportunities and novel approaches that others miss.

  • A demonstrable passion, skill and infectious energy that has motivated teams to achieve beyond their own expectations. You have experience of attracting talent, hiring and onboarding new team members and have successfully built teams from scratch giving them the structure to succeed.

  • You are able to translate company objectives into sound sales strategies and communicate these to a variety of stakeholders.

  • A commercial mindset where you can clearly perceive and articulate the value in a product, and identify multiple ways to monetise it with partners.

  • Comfort with ambiguity and a very high level of autonomy and accountability. Ability to thrive in a very fast paced, scale up environment and not be afraid to roll your sleeves up to make stuff happen.
