VP of Product

As the Vice president of Product you will lead across the business's 3 primary product lines and oversee a core team of 5 product managers. Reporting directly into the Chief Product Officer, you will work with cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, sales and marketing professionals to take the business from its current iteration to a next level of scale and market penetration. To thrive you will need to be extremely entrepreneurial, enjoy moving quickly, and can create a coherent strategy around both existing products, as well as new zero-to-one opportunities.

Building upon significant global customer and revenue growth over the last few years, Immersive Labs has established a strong position as a market-leader within the newly-defined cyber resilience domain. A key measure of success for the business will be growth and customer acquisition within the North American market; development of product breadth and complexity and expansion of the core client base - as VP Product, it will be your responsibility to define, implement and lead on end-to-end product strategy and roadmap to meet these targets.

A key element of the VP remit involves a focus on the development of a robust product agenda, building upon collaboration and ideation with the Chief Product Officer and leadership group. In growing the client portfolio, you will be required to work closely with go-to-market functions to articulate and execute on a product growth-driven strategy, expanding into new verticals and industries. There is a need to shift the existing product philosophy to one centered on the "voice of the customer", developing a renewed level of customer centricity through crafting use cases; user personas and understanding product-market fit.

Your key responsibilities (we're scaling fast, so these may change as we grow):

  • Lead, mentor and scale the product team, identifying and fulfilling key hiring needs and areas of the organization that necessitate upskilling. Implement the right processes to enable the product team to move to a customer-centric approach, cognisant of customer use cases and personas
  • In alignment with the rest of the management team, define and communicate the product vision and strategy of Immersive Labs and our competitive position in the cybersecurity market. Transform vision & strategy into actionable, measurable product goals for your teams and the organization overall - all this based on data and product insights.
  • Leverage our market leading position and strong capital backing to develop a clear growth strategy in partnership with go-to-market stakeholders This should facilitate expansion of market share within North America and consolidation across the EMEA region; the development of product breadth and complexity, understanding the needs of both SME and enterprise scale clients; and an enhancement of product complexity as the cyber threat landscape continues to evolve

You should apply if you have (we know it's tough, but please try to avoid the confidence gap. You don't have to match all the listed requirements exactly to be considered for this role):

  • A highly ambitious product leader and hands-on problem solver with experience in defining and communicating clear, well-prioritized product vision, strategy and roadmap while being a key driver of growth in a successful Enterprise software business, ideally at Series C stage or later
  • Experience managing, recruiting, coaching and developing talent in product management, design and user experience.
  • A champion of the customer, who understands how to tackle risks upfront based on strong discovery techniques and a core philosophy of customer centricity
  • Successful track-record in aligning product vision with tactics and roadmap, which focuses people and process on the core value and best outcome for customers with clear priorities and visibility. Combined with strong evangelism skills to effectively share vision and strategy.
  • Innovator at heart, used to a fast-paced environment dealing with high levels of ambiguity and driven by the chance to define a new category in a fast growing market.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator internally and externally, low ego, capable of motivating and energizing reports and peers, with a proven ability to create a highly collaborative working environment.

As well as an inclusive, supportive place for you to be you. We offer an extensive range of benefits so you can do your very best work:
