Job description

Key Responsibilities
  • Marketing Strategy: Developing and implementing the overall marketing strategy for Echobox to achieve its goals, including establishing the value proposition, target market, and product positioning for Echobox Social and Echobox Email.
  • Lead Generation: Oversee the execution of strategies in order to generate inbound leads and drive the acquisition of customers via channels such as digital advertising, email marketing, events, content marketing, partnerships etc.
  • Brand Management: Managing the company’s brand reputation by working closely with internal departments to ensure a consistent brand image and messaging across channels.
  • Product Marketing: Working closely with the VP Product to develop Echobox’s product positioning and go-to-market strategies for both products by understanding the unique selling points, speaking to customers, and leading the creation of collateral to support outbound Business Development and Sales efforts.
  • Marketing Campaigns: Leading the planning and execution of marketing campaigns by defining objectives, managing budgets, tracking and analysing metrics, and using the data to inform decision making.
  • Market Trends and Competition: Staying abreast of market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities to advance Echobox’s position and be a market leader globally.

Required Skills and Experience
  • 5+ years management experience in a senior marketing role
  • Advising stakeholders and leading on marketing strategies for a multi-product company
  • Data-driven decision making
  • Comfort with spreadsheets to analyse data
  • Leading a team to execute on strategy as well as having the comfort to do the required day-to-day activities when necessary
