AT A GLANCE
We are seeking a Social Media Assistant to maintain and grow our company’s social media networks. You will update social networks and curate content to gain new followers and sales. You will also create new social marketing campaigns, build brand recognition, and manage all published company content.
Where: East London, Remote Opportunity, No Travel Needed
Time: Either in or out of office hours
Estimate of time needed: 3-5 hours / Week or 5-7 hours / Week

True Cadence CIC is a music business social enterprise based in East London. We provide age-relatable structured learning, support, mentoring and tailored artistic development to 8-25-year-olds from under-resourced communities. Our beneficiaries build skills, grow in confidence, and lessen risk-taking behaviours while realising their potential and becoming music ‘industry-ready’.

WHAT ARE YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES?
- Oversee day-to-day management of campaigns and ensure brand consistency
- Establishing and/or maintaining active social media accounts.
- Researching and creating creative content for different social media channels.
- Identifying opportunities to establish relationships with local community groups
- Keeping up to date with TC’s campaigns and promoting this across the different channels
- Thinking of innovative ways to drive online engagement.
- Identifying target audiences and being up to date with current trends.
WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
You do not need to be highly experienced as training will be provided, but the following will be useful:
- Commitment to TC’s values
- Ability to work within TC’s policies and guidelines.
- Good time management
- Experience in using Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
- Good written communication skills, with accuracy and good attention to detail.
- Ability to think creatively when sharing content.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and motivated to work as an individual.
- Ability to deal in a professional manner when communicating online.
- Basic digital photography experience will be useful but not necessary.

WHAT’S NEXT?
Once you submit your application, a manager will contact you for an informal interview. You will receive a full induction and essential training upon gathering suitable references. Please include two references in your cover letter to speed up this process.

Applicants will require the right to work in the UK and are subject to a DBS check for roles involving children and vulnerable adults.

All employees are required to wear a mask in any cases of face to face interaction, however, no other COVID-19 precautions will be necessary as this role is remote working.
Education:
- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)
