About the role:
Our volunteer youth worker position consists of building positive relationships, engaging with a range of young people through various activities and getting involved in the Social Sanctuary community!
We currently run Youth Clubs in 2 locations; The Hub at Ashmore Park, 82 Griffiths Drive, WV11 2LH and Parish of Saint Matthew’s Church, 222 Willenhall Road, WV1 2JQ. Volunteers can either volunteer at one or both locations and we encourage applicants local to these areas to get in touch!
Responsibilities:
- To build positive relationships with young people
- To manage our reception - signing people in/out, talking with parents/carers and the general public and general administrative responsibilities (Suggested 2 hours per week)
- To work within The Social Sanctuary Project's policies at all times, especially in regards to Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Equality and Anti-Oppressive Practice
