Our dynamic, creative, innovative East London Community Arts Charity WIILMA www.wiilma.org is recruiting for filmakers and storytellers for our WIILMA Community Voices Project but also fiction based films.
We are looking for kind, friendly, reliable and confident people who can motivate and bring people together or work as team, able to capture stories and communicate a message with conviction, integrity and confidence, communicate and highlight social issues the charity feels strongly about.
Various issues ranging from loneliness, disappearing community and Arts spaces, digital exclusion, gender based violence, social inequality, but also to make short films to cover our very innovative community arts projects etc
WIILMA as a charity primarily exist to reduce loneliness, isolation and connect individuals and communities through music, creativity and diversity, by sharing professional skills from across the creative industries however we are also moving into the area of social improvement and campaigns through our WIILMA Community Voices Project.
You may also be taking photographs (if you wish) and making short films and documentaries for ready for screenings on various platforms and film festivals annually such as with our partners suchhe Barbican and to launch on our own YouTube Channel @wiilmamusicarts
Meetings will be online but physical events and meetings will generally be within Waltham Forest, East London close to Leyton or Leytonstone Tube Station on the central line (close to Stratford.)
