Volunteer Coordinator Northern Ireland
We are recruiting a Volunteer Coordinator to promote volunteering for PAPYRUS across Northern Ireland, and to recruit, engage and manage volunteers to support the work of the charity.
In this role you will be:
· Recruiting, training, supporting, engaging, and managing volunteers.
· Developing and maintaining partnership in local communities to enable and enhance our volunteer programme.
· Meeting with volunteers regularly on a one to one and groups setting to review their roles and encourage engagement.
· Maintaining accurate records for all volunteers in compliance with GDPR and reporting to the Area Manger on impact of our volunteering.
· Completing exit interviews with volunteers and ensuring feedback is implemented back into the PAPYRUS team.
· Working with other Volunteer Coordinators across the charity to review, develop and implement best practice within our programme.
To be successful in this role you will have:
· Proven experience of recruiting, supporting, engaging and managing volunteers.
· Previous experience working in a community setting, delivering information and training sessions, leading workshops or educational activities.
· Ability to accurately record and manage data and report to on outcomes to deadlines.
· Ability to travel to different locations within Northern Ireland to attend meetings and events.
Salary: £27,344 per annum (NJC Scale SCP 18) progressing by increments to £30,151 per annum (NJC Scale SCP 23)

Hours: 36 hours per week. Due to the nature of the role some evening, weekend and bank holiday working may be required.
Location: Derry/Londonderry office or Belfast office with regular travel across the Northern Ireland
