The Role - Voids Program Manager

We are looking for an experienced voids manager to join our talented project team delivering a programme of repairs and maintenance works to voids properties. The role will entail working collaboratively with internal and external contractors and colleagues, across a portfolio of residential voids.

Duties/Key Responsibilities

• Project managing works to void properties, including specification of works, contract administration, cost control and building construction processes to facilitate delivery of the voids programme
• Management of all commercial aspects of the refurbishment project including procurement of subcontractors, preparation of Subcontract agreements, sign-off on valuations and variations.
• Production of monthly financial and performance reports
• Managing a team and supervising day to day management, setting targets, reviewing performance, conducting 1-2-1s, managing sickness and holding meetings.
• Ensuring that the work of the void surveyors meets the agreed voids standard and the programme runs effectively.
• Working with the voids team to sign off all void properties and handover to the lettings team

Skills

• A qualification in property surveying (desirable rather than essential) or a relevant trade qualification and experience.
• Experience of managing a team including voids surveyors and a track record of delivering an effective voids programme.
• Experience of working to tight timeframes, prioritising and managing both their own and the team's time accordingly.
• Experience within a property-based environment
