What you’ll do
As a Voice Operations Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Voice Fault Management group, providing 3rd line technical support and enabling the group to meet the requirements and SLA's of customers. You will introduce and maintain fully tested fit for purpose, monitored platforms into the live environments. You will maintain platforms, keeping the patch current and testing patches in a lab environment to be applied across the live.
- Support Design with introduction of customer solutions.
- Support Complex Fault investigations
- Provide mentoring to improve team performance and personal development.
- Line management for 3rd line Platforms Specialist SME’s
- DOA for Senior Voice Operations Manager.
- Support Contract management and negotiations for all Voice Platform Suppliers.
- Ensure the integrity of billing data transfer.
- Define the support tools and facilities required to support the above activities centrally.
Who you are
A motivated and adaptable individual with the ability to support innovation and support a challenging environment
Customer focused, Team player with excellent communication (Written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Voice skills are essential - this role covers the entire enterprise business area for the UK.
Proven track record in Network Operations Management
You must be able to demonstrate technical knowledge and processes
Telecoms/ Engineering qualification is beneficial
Previous Telecoms experience is expected
