Job description
To deliver best-in-class in-store communication of Sephora’s marketing and animation plan and our brand partners range expression within this to maximise engagement with customers and sales productivity of the store. Responsible for the creative, implementation and compliance of the in-store merchandising guidelines whilst at all times considering the Sephora concept, communication and category strategies.
Duties and Responsibilities:
TRADE MARKETING
- Executes the Sephora in-store marketing and animation plan, translating central campaign guidelines and assets into the specific requirements for each store and supplementing with local campaigns where necessary whilst adhering to Sephora Group brand guidelines
- Plan, coordinate & support the implementation of all in-store marketing materials and POS, briefing external providers for production and installation, ensuring on-time delivery according to the in-store marketing plan
- Is in charge of Stores Animation plan (per physical support, per week) in coordination with Buying teams, UK e-com Animation team and Central Categories teams.
- Working with the UK Marketing team to create briefs for internal design teams to create artwork for all local animations.
- Work with brand partners to create bespoke animations for ad-hoc collaborations/partnerships
- Working closely with Commercial Development/Buying teams both Local and Central to ensure exclusive brands/NPD have planned animation in store and permanent expression.
PERMANENT VM
- Develops the visual merchandising and planograms in-store with our brand partners, aligned to the Sephora Visual Merchandising guidelines.
- Updating in-store planograms with brands to introduce newness and improve existing range execution to maximise return on space.
- Manage the production of updates when necessary for skincare, fragrances, haircare
- Manage the critical path for VM for new stores and existing stores, instructing brands on VM guidelines, signing off brand planograms, ordering fixtures.
- When necessary, create briefs, support designing and manage the development of VM display prototypes in partnership with external providers/central team
- Regularly assess materials used and business/manufacturing processes, challenging internal teams and external providers to drive improved sustainability
- Create Vm guidelines for merchandising stardards within store (in line with Sephora store book and standard)
- Sephora collection: permanent fixture management including update productions
Skills / Qualifications
- Passionate about retail and in-store visual merchandising.
- +5 years previous experience within a visual merchandising role, ideally within the beauty sector.
- Solution-oriented with a proactive and positive/optimistic attitude.
- Outstanding planning and prioritisation skills including the ability to work to tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as a strong work ethic and a tenacity to see things through.
- Highly adaptable with the ability to work in a fast and constantly changing environment.
