Visitor Information Assistant – 20 hpw

£21,189 pa pro rata (£10.98 ph)
Hours of Work:
Week 1:
Tuesday to Thursday 13.15 to 18.15
Friday 12.15 to 17:15
Week 2:
Monday 8.45 to 17:15
Saturday and Sunday, 9.45 to 16.15
To work within South Tyneside’s Visitor Information Centre/the Shop @ The Word, offering the highest possible standards of customer care, advice and information to residents of and visitors to the Borough.
A key emphasis of this role is on the retail element of the centre, selling a wide range of items to members of the public. You will be required to work the hours detailed above however this may be subject to change so some flexibility is required (i.e. to cover holidays, sickness).
