Birmingham City University is a large and diverse place to study right in the heart of the city and we currently have exciting opportunities in the Academic Development Department within the Health Education and Life Sciences Faculty.
We are seeking visiting lecturers to support undergraduate and postgraduate students in developing their academic skills, across a range of courses within the Faculty.
Essential: You must have experience teaching in higher education and supporting students in their academic progression.
The role will include the delivery of teaching sessions and workshops, in addition to one-to-one and group tutorials. You will be supporting students with their development of academic writing, critical thinking, referencing, presentation skills and reflective practice.
We are dedicated to providing our students with the very best learning and teaching opportunities to help them develop and succeed in their studies. Therefore, your role will be key in supporting our students in their academic development.
You will be working with a supportive and experienced team, who are all committed to the student experience and developing the work of the Academic Development Department.
You must hold a Post Graduate Qualification.
