We currently have an exciting opportunity for Visiting Lecturers to join the Department of Midwifery. You will be joining our existing team of highly motivated and enthusiastic academics and you will contribute to the taught delivery, assessment and support for students on courses overseen by the midwifery department. You should be qualified as a registered midwife for at least 12 months and have clinical experience of working in maternity care. Current NMC registration as a midwife is essential.
As a Visiting Lecturer, you can submit monthly claims for pay using our online system. Applicants should apply by completing the online application, uploading a full CV and a covering letter highlighting your areas of expertise and ambitions.
In applying for this vacancy, you will be submitting your details to a Visiting Lecturer recruitment pool. Please note that Visiting Lecturer posts are part time, fixed term contracts for which a specific amount of hours work will be agreed between you and the Faculty. Visiting Lecturer posts are paid hourly and there are a range of pay rates dependant on the role.
As and when relevant teaching hours become available that your CV and experience are suitable for, you will be contacted by the Faculty directly to discuss in more detail. Please be aware that you are not guaranteed to hear back from the Faculty.
