Job description
We are looking for experienced Visiting Tutors (VT’s) for the Birmingham Institute of Creative Arts (BICA).
BICA is made up of three Schools; The School of Art, The School of Visual Communication and the School of Games, Film & Animation we are open to receive applicants relevant to all disciplines, some teaching experience at HE level is desirable.

Please note that Visiting Lecturer posts are part time, fixed term contracts for which a specific amount of hours work will be agreed between you and the Faculty. Visiting Lecturer posts are paid hourly and there are a range of pay rates dependant on the role.
As and when relevant teaching hours become available that your CV and experience are suitable for, you will be contacted by the Faculty directly to discuss in more detail. Please be aware that you are not guaranteed to hear back from the Faculty.
Recruitment pools will be closed at the end of September each year, at which point you will be contacted with an invite to resubmit your details for the following year’s recruitment pool if you would still like to be considered.
