Job Description Our Summer Internship is an 11-week programme providing you the opportunity to experience all that Visa has to offer alongside completing challenging work, building your skillset, and networking with fellow interns and Visa employees. Throughout the internship you will work on BAU work within your team, be given an end-to-end project to complete and take part in a variety of trainings to increase your learning. You will also get the opportunity to take part in a global social impact case challenge as well as hearing from senior leaders through our Visa Executive Speaker Series. The internship is just the beginning to what we hope will be a lasting career at Visa! If you are successful throughout your internship you could even secure a graduate role with us when you finish university. Visa Payments Limited (VPL) is a financial technology business that provides cross-border payment processing services to banks and payments businesses [SJW1] through its global network. VPL is part of Visa Direct’s strategy (Visa’s money movement network) and provides it the core capability and expanded reach to make payments to Automated Clearing House (ACH) and real-time payment (RTP) networks across the globe. This is an opportunity to join our Summer Internship program within the VPL Finance team. Our Finance function partners with teams across the Visa organization to provide accurate, reliable and timely support for financial and business transactions and decisions. We are committed to leading by example while encouraging growth and fiscal integrity. It consists of areas ranging across Financial Planning & Analysis and Business Partnering, Treasury (FX & Network Liquidity Management, Cash Management, et al), Finance Operations (Payables, Receivables, Payments & Accounts Reconciliations, Bank Account and User Mgmt, et al), Financial Reporting and others. Your assignment will give you clear responsibility, ownership and deliverables however you will be trained and supported to enable you to succeed and maximize this growth opportunity. Scope will include: Support and deliver financial planning modeling activities, such as capital adequacy projections, P&L forecasting, FinOps Dashboards or FX liquidity & pricing analytics. Communicate insights and recommendations to management from financial and business analysis, in a clear, concise and impactful way. Demonstrate work ethics and actions aligned with Visa Leadership Principles. Support the VPL Finance team with ongoing core operations and team activities. Our qualifications to apply can be noted below: Right to work in the country you are applying to Current university student graduating in 2025 pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in any subject, ideally a Finance, Economics or STEM subject Ability to work full time over the summer (June/July-Aug/Sept) Curious mindset with an interest in solving problems alongside strong analytical and quantitative skills Proactive attitude with experience of being a self-starter and a willingness to learn and develop Advanced skills in MS Excel Excellent communication skills (written and oral) Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
