What you’ll do:
Our Virtual Sales Manager team are a critical part of the Volvo Car UK Fleet & Remarketing Team supporting SME customers (fleet size sub-49) directly with their fleet needs and delivering incremental sales volume.
The Virtual Sales Manager will provide additional support for our business customers and for other team member. You will act as a role model in Sales, Customer Service and self-leadership as well as an inclusive ambassador for the values and culture of Volvo Car UK. Overall, you will increase Volvo new car sales annually, with new and existing customers by using the traditional wholesale channel and more importantly growing our online sales too.
The role is vital in positioning, influencing, and securing business opportunities for the short, medium, and long term. It encompasses all facets of direct contact with the business customer and the agents thereof.
You will maximise sales and profitability, convert prospect leads, actively follow up on appointments and respond to requests and queries from customers, prospects and retailers, reviewing offers and agreements to ensure they are matched to sales volume opportunities. You will use events and hospitality programme to establish relationships and optimize sales results. The role can be based from either our Maidenhead or Daventry offices with Hybrid and Flexible working available.
Do you fit the profile?
You have proven sales experience working in either retail sales or business sales for a premium franchise automotive retailer or experience as an account manager for a leasing company.
You show both flexibility and creativity to sell Volvo products and services to a wide audience. We believe you have the analytical ability that is key to ensuring credibility and professionalism as well as maximising sales. You have good knowledge of all aspects of the business sales car market and financial understanding.
