Role: Videographer / Studio Manager

Rate: £300 - £330 (via umbrella)

Contract Length: 3 months

Location: London


The Videographer/Studio manager will:

  • Bring our departmental priorities to life by planning and creating engaging videos and animations that tell our story.
  • Play a crucial role in supporting Ministers and Perm Secretary to undertake filming and production: video conferencing, prerecords. livestream events, social media clips with technical skills
  • This role will involve supporting Secretary of State and Ministerial events, visits and priorities and willingness to travel and work flexibly according to business need.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing day-to-day studio production and management
  • Develop original visuals for video projects: sourcing footage and designing elements with stakeholders, to create high-quality, shareable digital content that engages our audiences
  • Manage the production process from start to finish: conceptualising, coordinating, shooting and editing to final product delivery at pace, ensuring that the outputs meet the brief's needs, speedy time constraints, quality and budget.
  • Shoot and edit both studio and location footage including interviews, pieces to camera, engaging b-roll, and promotional videos for campaigns and events.
  • Determine what equipment is required for shoot's and have an intricate knowledge of camera set-up, lighting and audio.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of industry experience, knowledge and skills.
  • Professional working knowledge of DSLR cameras and lenses (Sony and Canon experience is a plus).

-Excellent and proven knowledge of digital video production with a thorough understanding of production, studio set up, timeframes and technical delivery - including audio and visual capture, lighting, framing and live streaming.

  • Excellent knowledge across Adobe Creative Cloud apps, including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator (knowledge of After Effects is a bonus).
