The Role
HENI talks is looking to hire an experienced all-round videographer possessing an expansive skillset, enabling them to function effectively as a producer, director, camera operator, and editor as necessary.
This dynamic role offers the successful candidate an unparalleled opportunity to broaden their professional experience and showcase their skills and creativity across a range of vibrant and innovative projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Video production: Conceptualise, film, and edit unique content, working solo or in collaboration with producers, editors, and camera operators.
- Project Management: Deliver high quality, professional footage per request for commercial and social use, in line with brand guidelines specific to each project, acting as Producer, Director, Camera Operator, and editor as required.
- Scheduling: Organising and scheduling of various video shoots based on client needs, requirements, and deadlines.
- Pre-production and planning: Oversee pre-production and legal planning of shoots.
- Video Editing: Regular and timely editing of video assets.
- Podcast Production: Work on visual and audio aspects of a podcast - shooting & editing.
- Equipment Maintenance: Manage camera inventory and equipment.
- File Management: Store and organise assets and data in an easily accessible and referable format.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Knowledge of Safety and Risk Mitigation processes and procedures - PfCO or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent technical understanding of videography.
- Ability to utilise editing software for team video editing.
- Expertise in colour grading and use of related tools.
- Familiarity with sound recording using external recording devices.
- Experience/background in arts and culture preferred.
