Permanent - Full Time - 37 hours per week
Monday – Friday

We are looking for an experienced Videographer / Photographer to join our growing Digital Content team at MHA.

As Videographer / Photographer you will create and produce the in-house video content, photography, and live streams, working alongside the Digital Communities Manager and stakeholders across the charity.

Experience and requirements
  • They have experience of producing video projects from idea to execution; including conception and planning, self-shooting, producing on location and interviewing, right through to edit.
  • They will have a strong creative flair and ability to come up with new ideas and concepts for video projects.
  • Experience of producing live streams.
  • Strong photography and videography skills.
  • Confident with video, audio and lighting, including the Nikon Z mirrorless (Z6/7)
  • Highly skilled with Adobe Premiere Pro. Wider knowledge of the adobe suite is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience of stakeholder management.
  • Highly organised and highly efficient – demonstrated ability of multi-tasking and prioritising.
  • The successful candidate will be confident, energetic, and enthusiastic towards their work.
  • They will be approachable, able to get on with people at all levels, to create and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Full driving licence and access to own transport.

Responsibilities

  • To manage and create video projects from conception to completion; including planning, self-shooting, right through to edit.
  • To manage and produce the creation of photography and live streams.
  • Pre-produce projects, working alongside stakeholders, to create shot lists, storyboards, and production scheduling.
  • To work closely with project managers and teams across the charity to create video projects from briefs. You will work closely with marketing, fundraising and communications to create videos and photography to support with their projects.
  • To project manage and coordinate video productions.
  • Manage AV briefs and ensure their completion from clients.
  • To act as a guardian MHA’s brand and visual identity through our digital content, ensuring that all content adheres to MHA’s Brand Guidelines.

We offer the flexibility of hybrid working, with a general expectation of at least 2 days per week to be spent at our Head Office in Derby. There will also be a requirement for occasional travel to our sites across England and Wales.
