Job description

Kartoffel Films is looking for a brilliant animation and video producer to join our small and growing team. This is a great opportunity to make your mark in a creative and fast-paced studio environment.

Producing animation and video for some of the world's leading brands and organizations in the charity, healthcare, education, and tech sectors. On any given week you will be working with clients such as the NHS, Age UK, the University of Cambridge and some of the worlds most exciting and innovative tech start ups.

Key Responsibilities :

Running productions independently end-to-end and always delivering to a high standard.

Guiding both the creative and logistical elements of a project, including; scripting, talent resourcing and edit producing.

Responsible for all communications internally and externally on assigned projects.

Budgeting shoots ranging from from £5K - £100K

Creating detailed project timelines.

Managing budgets and ensuring project profit margins.

Planning and running shoots, and being on-set occasionally or managing remotely.

Maintaining quality standards across all aspects of production.

Managing post production.

Playing an active role in creative development, bringing ideas to the table and troubleshooting.

Pitching for new business and responding to briefs.

Ideal candidate will have / be:

Passionate about animation and video.

Solid understanding of production and post-production processes.

Meticulous attention to detail.

Proven trouble-shooter with business acumen.

At least 1 year proven experience of producing video productions independently.

The ability to interpret briefs and produce content that exceeds clients expectations.

Proactive and able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a small team.

Driven and motivated.

Excellent communication skills both written, verbal and numerical.

Able to prioritise and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment

Great organisational skills.

Ability to work under pressure and remain calm in the face of changing circumstances.

Key Information:

Location: This role is based in our London studio with occasional remote working.

Hours: This is a full-time role; our office hours are Monday-Friday / 9am-5.30pm

9am - 5.30pm, 5 days a week

Starting Salary: £27k

Work/Life Balance: Though due to the nature of the industry there is the occasional early start or late finish. Here at Kartoffel Films we make a priority to get our work done within the hours of 9am to 5.30pm.
