We understand hospitality can involve anti-social hours. All contracted staff who earn less than £36,000 full-time annual salary can earn up to an additional £3.00 per hour:

Sunday - Thursday from 7pm - 5am = extra £1.00 per hour

Saturday and Sunday from 5am - 7pm = extra £2.00 per hour

Friday and Saturday evening from 7pm - 5am = extra £3.00 per hour!


We also recognise everyone plays their part to provide amazing service.

On top of your salary you can earn up to £1,000 service charge per quarter (points based criteria for eligibility).

About the Role

Are you passionate about video production and photography? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you.

We understand the power of visual storytelling and are looking to recruit a video producer who can create, shoot, and edit inspiring, engaging promotional/ film video and stills content for use in our marketing channels.

The successful candidate will enjoy working as part of team, yet will be capable of using their own initiative and working to tight deadlines.

With a creative flair and eye for detail it will be important to demonstrate sound understanding of a brief and be receptive to receiving feedback during the editing process.

This is a new role within our award-winning marketing team, created as we have exciting plans to grow the business over coming years.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Storyboard, style, shoot and edit beautifully crafted video and photo content for use online (predominantly website). This could range from a shot of a suite for the website, to a short film to tell a brand story e.g. careers, sustainability, a new development.
  • Utilise video and editing software, motion graphic design, visual effects, and sound adjustments to create polished and engaging content.
  • Manage the Rudding Park asset library, ensuring it is kept up to date; assets filed logically with key words for search ability.
  • Identify gaps in the Rudding Park asset library and arrange a shoot schedule across the year to obtain quality content.
  • Ensure, once approved content is passed to the respective team member for distribution on appropriate channels.
  • Utilise existing content, where relevant and edit to create a story or weave into new content.
  • Record and film regular Rudding Park podcasts to support our brand storytelling and pass to the respective team member for distribution on appropriate channels.
  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders at all times in the planning of a shoot to briefing them where relevant.

About You

  • Passion for storytelling and creativity.
  • Demonstrable experience of video & photo capture and content creation in a commercial environment (notably storytelling and video production).
  • Experience in video & photo editing using the Adobe suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Lightroom and Photoshop). Knowledge of colour grading, visual effects (graphics), audio adjustments and other editing techniques.
  • Ability to independently follow and interpret a brief.
  • A professional approach with great attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a flexible, fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Confident and personable.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
